February 3rd - Feast of Saint Blase, the martyred Bishop of Sebaste in Armenia, reputed to have miraculously saved the life of a choking young boy. It is customary to bless the throats of the faithful on this day to preserve them from illness of the throat. Two 7/8" 51% Beswax candles customarily interwined as one at the base.
