Purple chasuble, with pelican emblem, manufactured in Brugia, soft, blended fabric of 100% wool. Elegant combination of galoon with a beautiful hand embroidered emblem; same combination on front and back. With plain neckline "0"; width 59" (150 cm), length 53" (135 cm); with inside stole. The pelican is the symbol of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross (and in the Eucharist) because it was believed the pelican would pierce her breast to feed her young with her own blood.
