NRSV CATHOLIC BLUE JOURNAL BIBLE - 9780785230441

The NRSV Catholic Journal Bible in blue cloth is a complete Catholic Bible in the New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition, with extra-wide margins for notes, art journaling, and hand-copying favorite verses. It is printed on thick, opaque Bible paper in line-matched 9-point Catholic Comfort Print, and it carries the imprimatur of the Catholic Church. It is designed for Catholics who want to write, draw, or reflect in the pages of their Bible as part of personal prayer and study.

The paper is meant for marking. Its thickness and opacity give strong contrast with the black text and limit bleed-through when you write or draw in the margins. The Scripture is line-matched, and each book opens with a short introduction to its background and historical context. The Smyth-sewn binding lies flat in your hand or on a desk, which makes it easier to write near the gutter. Two double-sided satin ribbon markers keep your place. This edition uses Anglicized text, with British English spelling and grammar, and prints the words of Christ in black. The NRSV Catholic Edition is approved for private use and study by the Catholic faithful.

Use & care: For personal prayer, study, and creative Bible journaling at a desk or table. Test pens, pencils, or paints on a back page first; the paper is made to limit bleed-through, but wet or heavy media may still show. Keep the cloth cover dry and away from heat and direct sunlight.
