The Matching Burse And Veil - JHS Collection (103-0930) is a set of two coordinating liturgical accessories used at the altar during Mass: the burse, a stiffened pocket that holds the corporal, and the veil, a square cloth used to cover the chalice before and after the Consecration. Made by the Belgian manufacturer Arte Grosse, the set is crafted from Tudor Rose damask, a durable, lightweight damask, and is designed to coordinate with the matching chasubles in the JHS Collection.

Use & care: The veil is draped over the chalice before Mass begins and again after the ablutions, and the burse holds the folded corporal on top of the veiled chalice as it is carried to and from the altar. As a woven damask, professional dry cleaning is generally recommended to preserve the fabric.
