Jesus de Nazareth - 9780385525046

Jesus de Nazareth (Jesús de Nazaret) is the Spanish-language edition of Pope Benedict XVI's book on Jesus, translated from the German Jesus von Nazareth. The author holds that reason and faith are not contradictory and that the Gospels can be trusted, and he notes that the scholarship of the past century on the "historical" Jesus has offered insights but has also diverged in misinformed ways. This 448-page paperback is for Spanish-language readers who want a portrait of Jesus, the central figure of the Christian faith, from the Gospels.

Use & care: Suited to personal study, prayer, and parish or Scripture study groups that read in Spanish. Keep the book dry and away from direct heat and sunlight to protect the pages.
